Certified Running Technique Specialist credential is the first in the line of certifications based on the Pose Method – a methodical and conceptual approach to teaching and learning movement. It is an internationally known credential with certified providers all over the world.

As the demand for skilled Technique Specialists is at a critical level due to increase in movement related injuries and increase in numbers of participants in athletic activities, practitioners who hold the CRTS (Pose Method) certification are well positioned to provide the professional skills necessary to successfully lead and achieve positive results.
The Certified Running Technique Specialist (Pose Method) credential is for any individual who wants to demonstrate a higher level of running technique instruction, coaching knowledge and ability. The purpose of the CRTS (Pose Method) is to ensure that an individual possesses the knowledge and competency required to teach and train clients safely and effectively.
To attain this credential individuals must meet all eligibility requirements, pass the CRTS (Pose Method) examination, and commit to a standard of professional practice.
Since 1997, the Level 1 has served as an entry level specialty certification for anyone interested in teaching and coaching running.
Academy’s certification program is based on a scientific foundation and is designed to promote efficacy and excellence in teaching technique and movement. This certification program offers a credential to practitioners that may seek it in addition to their primary qualifying degree to demonstrate a greater level of knowledge and proficiency.
This credential requires an individual to demonstrate competency through a Certification Exam.
