REQUEST REVIEW
Candidates who fail at least one attempt or more have an option to request a review of the exam results prior to making another attempt and in order to receive written feedback that includes recommendations on reading and viewing additional material as well as the necessary areas of focus. This service has a fee of $75 USD.
REQUEST RETESTING
Candidates who fail 2 attempts are permitted to take the exam again for a fee of $125 USD. This reduced fee is applicable for one year from the date of the approved application.
REQUEST REACTIVATION
Non-Starter/Exam Reactivation Request. A candidate who does not start the exam within six (6) months of registering for the exam will be considered a non-starter. A non-starter is treated like a failed exam. Non-starters will be allowed to proceed with the exam upon completing the payment of the $50 USD reactivation fee. The reactivation request must be submitted online.
REQUEST EXTENSION
Extreme Circumstances/No Fee Penalty Form. If a candidate is unable to proceed with the examination within the allotted time-frame of one year due to emergency or hardship such as serious illness of either the candidate or an immediate family member, death in the immediate family, disabling traffic accident, or military duty, he or she will be permitted to extend the time-frame to take the exam at no additional charge.
CANCEL EXAM
Exam Cancellation/Fee Refund. The examination fee is refundable (minus $50 USD processing fee) if the candidate notifies the Academy’s Certification Department that he or she no longer wants to take the exam. This notice must be submitted in writing. To cancel an exam that has been paid for a notification must be given within 30 days of registering for the exam.
