Pose Method® Courses meet the Continuing Education requirements for PTs and PTAs for Type A, B and C activities established by the Washington Department of Health, Board of Physical Therapy and in accordance with the PT Practice Act.
Physical therapists must complete 32 hours of continuing education and 200 hours of employment every two years.
Every two years, a physical therapist shall complete thirty-two hours (32) of continuing education (CE) through any of the following means:
a) Participation in a course, live or online (No limit)
b) Live or recorded instructional electronic media that does not include specific goals and objectives relating to the practice of physical therapy. (4 hours maximum. Instead of course goals, objectives and certificate of completion, the PT shall write and submit to the department a one-page synopsis in twelve-point font for each hour of running time.)
c) Books or articles reviewed. (8 hours maximum, reading time only. The PT shall write and submit to the department a one-page synopsis in twelve-point font for each hour of reading time. The time spent writing a synopsis is not reportable.)
Physical therapist assistants must complete 24 hours of continuing education and 200 hours of employment every two years.
Every two years, a physical therapist assistant shall complete twenty-four hours (24) of continuing education through any of the following means:
a) Participation in a course, live or online (No limit)
b) Live or recorded instructional electronic media that does not include specific goals and objectives relating to the practice of physical therapy. (4 hours maximum. Instead of course goals, objectives and certificate of completion, the PT shall write and submit to the department a one-page synopsis in twelve-point font for each hour of running time.)
